How to activate games for Windows Live?
- After the initialization screen, hit the Home button and the GFWL menu will be popped up including the instructions on how to setup Games for Windows Live.
- Read the instructions if necessary but it will be in vain due to not being practical now.
- Click Continue. NOTE: You will also see a link as create local profile.
What happened to games for Windows Live?
It has been discontinued, and is rumored for a July shut down. Some games will have it patched out other won't. Steam is gradually pulling games from the store as the devs/publishers announce they won't be removing GFWL like in Bullet Storm's case.

Click on "create a new profile". The next page should tell you a bunch of useless stuff about Windows Live, but if you scroll down, you will see a highlighted text that says "create a new profile". You will have to click on it to make an offline profile for saving your game. The next step is to name your profile.
